About the Movie

1960s London: Demi Moore is Laura Quinn, a bright and driven executive at the London Diamond Corporation who finds herself discouraged as male colleagues are repeatedly promoted ahead of her despite her greater experience. Michael Caine is Hobbs, the equally overlooked nighttime janitor with an intimate knowledge of the security — and a score to settle with the Corporation. Sensing Laura’s frustration, he convinces her to help pull off an ingenious heist.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: There is a nice sense of style, and appreciation for tense face-to-face confrontations among characters trying to ignore the temptations around them. It's sort of the opposite of the current robbery flick The Bank Job - all substance and no flash. – Joe Neumaier, New York Daily News, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The plot contortions that very slowly unfold under Michael Radford's arthritic direction in Flawless are not much...entertaining. – Lou Lumenick, New York Post, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Screenwriter Edward Anderson drops the South African angle in favor of more conventional developments and has a hard time bringing this across the finish line without a number of implausibilities. – J. R. Jones, Chicago Reader, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: A nicely made if slightly stodgy jewel heist flick that offers Michael Caine one more juicy, low-key role and Demi Moore another step back up the ladder to career revival. – Tom Long, Detroit News, Jun 24, 2010

Stellar plot keeps you guessing

Halfway through the movie I thought I had it all figured out and wondered how in the world they'd fill up another hour... but they did! Excellent acting, suspense, and of course, plot!
