Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Nothing - not the characters, not their stories and certainly not their violence - is meant to register deeply. Their words and worlds are disposable; it's no wonder they fade so fast. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: It's trash so compacted it glows. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Feb 18, 2012

Rotten: Had the action sequences been better framed and presented, this might have been one of the summer's mindless high points. As it is, it's a passable diversion. – James Berardinelli, ReelViews, Jul 8, 2010

Fresh: Based on its own merits, The A-Team is a sweet little sugar cube of outrageous fun and almost unparalleled silliness. We may not have asked for it, but I'm thankful we've got it. – Simon Miraudo, Quickflix, Oct 21, 2014

I laughed so hard I cried and nearly peed my pants one of my favorites...(critics are stupid they don't know a good movie when they see one)

Grade "A-Team" fun.

"The A-Team" is one of the few movies that has tons of CGI, but works. Yes, there is many, many action scenes loaded with visual effects, but that doesn't mean it takes over the story. Yes, the story is pretty simple, but at least you understand what's going on, an element not favored with many action movies nowadays. Yes, the acting was pretty unrealistic, but that didn't make it unlikeable. Liam Neeson and his "A-Team" supporting cast was very funny and they did well together. Tbe story did have a few suprising twists, and you can't have twists without a story, which proves my point. And you know, lets face it, we don't go into action movies expecting to walk out a changed person. So, is "The A-Team" a movie that will change how you see everything? No. Will you walk out satisfied since you knew this was just for the fun of watching it to begin with? Yes. "The A-Team" delivers the popcorn goods and gets a thumbs up.
"Give me a minute, I'm good. Give me an hour, I'm great. Give me six months, I'm unbeatable." - Col. 'Hannibal' Smith

Don't listen to Critics!

Critics are so... critical to say the least haha. They want every movie to be the emotional cry-your-heart-out film of the century. This movie is a fantastic film and it's just plain FUN to watch. When's the last time you went to the movies just to have a free-lancing, funny, lots-of-explosions kind of movie? This movie is hilarious, there's a ton of explosions, and the acting isn't half bad.

If you're looking for a good time, then The A-Team is the movie for you.
