Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The filmmakers just don't know what to do about the ladies. – Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, Jan 24, 2011

Rotten: Bromances being what they are, Vince's sharp pang of disappointment might have been worth pursuing but, Ron Howard being who he is, not a chance. – Rick Groen, Globe and Mail, Jan 14, 2011

Rotten: Some great chemistry between the central duo is undone by a plot that is so frustrating you will want to chew off your arm. It's so frustrating that the ending is a palpable relief. – Marc Fennell, Triple J, Mar 1, 2011

Rotten: As cumbersome and drawn out as a slowly deflating tire, this cinematic collision between Vaughn's celebrated funny-surly persona and Howard's earnest pedigree is a bore -- and a serious miscalculation. – Donald Munro, Miami Herald, Jan 28, 2011

bad!!

I'M A HUGE FAN OF VINCE VAUGHN & KEVIN JAMES, BUT THIS MOVIE WAS JUST AWFUL..I MEAN I DON'T THINK I LAUGHED ONCE!! THE STORY IS JUST ALL OVER THE PLACE, IT'S WAY TOO LONG, & IT'S JUST NOT FUNNY AT ALL..THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES OF 2011!:(

Awesome preview

Kevin James is funny

Entertaining and Thrilling Throughout

The Dilemma works as a comedy, but as a mystery, it draws you in very easily. Vince Vaughn scores high as his character Ronny. While Kevin James, as sentimental as his character was, managed to squeeze a few chuckles here and there. Its all too fun to watch the crazy affair unfold and some of the things Ron Howard and the screenwriter thought up of were perfect for the story. Also, if you get annoyed by Vince Vaughn's constant over explaining in a movie, you'll be in for a very pleasant surprise this time around. They actually visualize his rants (like cutaway gags). I won't give away anything, but there funny as hell. If you haven't seen it in theaters, you gotta check it out now. Its Vaughn's best comedy since Four Christmases.
