About the Movie

Brian De Palma returns to the sleek, sly, seductive territory of Dressed To Kill with an erotic corporate thriller fueled by sex, ambition, image, envy and the dark, murderous side of PASSION. The film stars Rachel McAdams (Midnight In Paris, Sherlock Holmes, Mean Girls) and Noomi Rapace (Prometheus, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) as two rising female executives in a multinational corporation whose fierce competition to rise up the ranks is about to turn literally cut-throat.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Passion turns into vintage De Palma - which is to say, the film seems almost engineered to get you giggling at the extravagance of its absurdity. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Aug 28, 2013

Rotten: I have no objection to DePalma laughing at himself. But his heart's not in it. Neither is his libido. Passion lacks the promise of its title. It's dead inside. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Aug 30, 2013

Rotten: This tarted-up English-language remake affords some modestly campy pleasures, but lacks the delirious trash-horror verve of De Palma's best work. – Justin Chang, Variety, Aug 26, 2013

Rotten: After the clinically dull first half, it's more desperate pantry raid than feast. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Aug 30, 2013

Um... what just happened???

I want my life back... This movie started out interesting and quickly declined into a dream sequence that just wouldn't end. The acting is there and the story wants to be there, but it seems to lack direction. Not to mention, It needs to be about 45 minutes shorter. Do not waste your time or money on this flick or you will suddenly be asking yourself why is that phone ringing for 10 minutes straight... Ack!

Cheesy late 80s early 90s suspense murder mystery.

Sadly this movie is not good... I am a huge fan of both Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace so I was very excited for this film. Both the actors did a good job. The problem with this movie is the director. Its very lame and dated. At one point there is a scene using split screen with a ballet on the left and some boring scenes on the right... Even the score is dated.

Rachel McAdams is impeccable!

It IS a little over-stylized and I'm not going to lie. At first i didn't like it... But Rachel plays Christine perfectly and the more I watched her performance, the more I fell in love with the whole movie.
