Plot Summary

Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in the pulse-pounding action film Sabotage, from the director of End of Watch and the writer of Training Day. When DEA task force leader Breacher Wharton (Schwarzenegger) storms a heavily armed cartel safe house, rogue members of his team use it as a cover to steal $10 million in cash. But just when they think their secret is safe, agents are killed off one-by-one, and everyone is a suspect, including the squad itself. Co-starring Sam Worthington, Olivia Williams, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Josh Holloway and Mireille Enos, Sabotage is an explosive tale of betrayal and trust that critics call "a tense, action-packed thrill ride!" (Mark DeCarlo, ABC-TV's Windy City LIVE)

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: "Sabotage" isn't any good, even if its jagged, jolting visual excesses and frenzied energy keep you awake, gasping and guffawing by turns. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Mar 27, 2014

Rotten: Bloody, banal and boasting a surprisingly able clutch of stars who will soon be deleting this from their resumes, Sabotage is a 109-minute cadaver count. – Scott Bowles, USA Today, Mar 27, 2014

Rotten: It does have a weird, boldly ugly edge that makes for unexpectedly compelling viewing. – Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News, Mar 28, 2014

Rotten: For most of its running length, Sabotage is a gritty, compelling motion picture with twists to make a pretzel envious. Unfortunately, it overstays its welcome. – James Berardinelli, ReelViews, Mar 28, 2014

Sabotaged me!!!

This movie had so much promise. Great actors and a good director. This was honestly just terrible. The acting was amateurish and the story became boring very quickly. I like action movies, even the not so good ones but this movie was just a waste of time and money.

Worst of 2014

There is absolutely NOTHING to like about this movie. There is absolutely NO ONE to root for in this movie. Characters are despicable, their so-called brotherhood is laughable, their dialogue revolves around every conceivable mashup of curses, you may as well just listen to teenagers rant on using racial and homophobic slurs on Xbox live. These characters are no better, and maybe even more immature. There isn’t a veteran in the bunch, no active leadership. It seems like every single thing anyone does is a fireable offense. I hated this movie. It is atrocious. Be wise, avoid at all costs.

YES !

Regardless of the all too comon negative reviews of the classic action heros', Sabotage is by all means a very good film, one of Arnolds in recent years. Very much worth the purchase, unless you're still waiting for more of that twilight crap.
