Entertaining. Handsomely set on the coastal plain of Bretagne.
Story, two in one. A theme of risk taking, separate lives so different, but touching one another in lovely harmony.
Music, piano, a leitmotif, contrapuntal to a horse, fiery, strong, willful. Challenges each must take on to complete their life.
A love story at the edges, but again, in harmony. A very enjoyable film.
Cecile de France in a character scripted precisely. Graceful, beautiful, wound tight with unfinished business in her life. Taunted to take the risk, move with her heart to her wish.
Albert Dupontel bound with paralysis, unbound with compulsion to prevail over his tragedy.
An athletic actor, perfect for the role.
All the elements of story, character, action, emotion—blended well, designed with no mistakes.
