About the Movie
Flirty, flaky party girl Maggie (Cameron Diaz) and plain, dependable lawyer Rose (Toni Collette) are sisters, best friends and bitter rivals who seem to have nothing in common but size 8 1/2 feet and some family secrets. After a heart-rending falling out, they accidentally discover they also share a long-lost grandmother (Shirley MacLaine). Together they travel a bumpy road toward making peace with each other and themselves.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Collette's performance is so full of juice and the beneficiary of good dialogue that Diaz's may end up being underrated.
Rotten: Although In Her Shoes aims to rub along, with that scuffed worldliness which Hanson has made his own, it keeps bumping into the archness of the romantic-domestic genre.
Fresh: The movie gets much, much better as it goes along.
Fresh: Never lurked a Chick Flick that looked fairer on the urge to talk things out. Never lurked one with a smarter cast or a more cluttered screenplay, full of mirth and sorrow.
This movie was great it show's the bond of two sisters. I loved this movie It is a great movie definitely worth the buy!!
Your Rainy Day Chick Flick
"In Her Shoes" is a typical chick flick, though has a sweet, moving story to it. The story of two sisters, one is an uptight lawyer who wants to feel better about herself while the other is a free spirited, unemployed partyer who is encouraged to become more serious and to get her act strengthened out. Throughout the movie, the sisters don't just eventually connect with one another, though themselves at the same time. Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette work well with one another, and they seem to just click with each other on screen. No one else could really capture the perfect kind of sibling conflict they had together in this film.
this is a great movie but i hate how people commented this movie just saying that they felt like commenting it even without seeing it
