Marvel Entertainment presents the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero "Iron Man," reuniting director Jon Favreau and Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. In "Iron Man 2," the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: [Downey] gives Iron Man 2 its fascination. The rest is a cluttered, clattering toy story.
Fresh: The general excellence of the casting trumps the inarguable excellence of the technology.
Fresh: It's a solid blockbuster with a few faults that you just don't mind overlooking.
Fresh: Favreau's a workmanlike filmmaker who gets virtuoso performances from his leads, particularly Paltrow and Cheadle, but most of all Downey.
This is personally my favorite iron man movie, it is very underrated.
Sequel Through and Through
This film relies heavily on Iron Man and Captain America (Even though Captain America was released later). It sets up a lot of MCU for the Avengers. It means to get Tony from the Mark III to the Mark VI. These are its goals. It's very good at what it does. But unless Justin Hammer shows up again, the plot isn't exactly essentially to the MCU.
This is a forgettable follow up to iron man and falls short on part 1 in every way from its awful plot to its short action sequences it is an awful movie do not waste ur time or money
