In Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United, Iron Man and Captain America battle to keep the Red Skull and his triggerman Taskmaster, from unleashing an army of Hydra Brutes on the world! With Iron Man's intellect and Cap's combat training, the two born leaders must learn to work together and appreciate each other's skills in order to save the world from the evil throes of Hydra. All the fun of the Iron Man-Hulk dynamic from the first Heroes United, the rapport is matched here between Captain America and Iron Man. With a few surprising twists and a great Act III cameo, this action packed feature highlights two of the mightiest Avengers as they take down the malicious Red Skull and Taskmaster!
It was okay
I didn't much care for the previous Heroes United film, but this one was an improvement.
The animation isn't really that bad to be quite frank. It's almost comic booky with the cel-shading, I believe that was intentional. The detail in Iron Man suits and repulsers are nice to look, and the character movements are fluid. I most certainly wouldn't call the move "bad" just going by the animation style.
It reminds me of the new TMNT show, in terms of humor and tone, and I like that.
Of course not everything was grand. I didn't enjoy watching the choppy lip movements, and I felt there should have been a bit less humor and little more development.
Though I'll judge it for what it is, an okay movie for kids. That's right, kids. There's really nothing in this movie that talks to them, and I'm sure they'll enjoy this. If you're older and want more drama and seriousness, this wont be for you. If you want to see a fun, humorous Steve/Tony movie with plenty of action, then this for you.
Every minute of this movie is worth it:)
Computer generated animation video game graphics
Thanks Marvel team for putting out another quality product that adults and teens will indeed enjoy.
The lack of background scenery and empty space in all the animation settings are probably unnecessary because we want to focus on the characters only, never mind that it looks like a 3D version of the video game Street fighter.
The format really comes to life and shows off the artistic work, again it doesn't even seems like a green screen, it flows so natural.
What's next, Iron man and the Fantastic Four in the same format (CGI), we can't wait to pay for another hit at 19.99 keep them coming.
