Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: [Portman is] at her best here in the moments when Jackie is quiet, when the grief, anger and doubt are in her face more than in her words. – Linda Holmes, NPR, Jan 30, 2017

Fresh: Portman skilfully mimics Jackie's mannerisms but more importantly, you understand her character's complexities. – Matthew Toomey, ABC Radio Brisbane, Feb 4, 2017

Fresh: A fine film boasting some notably detailed period recreation...As a historical drama about how a nation looked to a single person for its cue about how to react to the murder of its leader the film does make for a solid, if somewhat repetitive, journey. – Jim Schembri, 3AW, Jan 24, 2017

Fresh: Clever, beautiful images about a clever, beautiful image-maker. – Sophie Monks Kaufman, Little White Lies, Jan 20, 2017

Not Jackie

Borring, inacurate, half of it is an invention of dialogues that no one could have known, terrible acting by Natalie Portman. She definitely is not Jackie. Don't waste your money or time.

I really wanted to like it...

So I was looking forward to this film I love drama's with a little history in there. I will say Natalie Portman was amazing and did an extraordinary job portraying Jackie Kennedy. But the story was just all over the place. No up and downs just straight across. Didn't make me feel anything except she did a great job as an actress. I wish I would have waited to rent it.

Didn't like it.

This movie was nothing what I expected. Jumped around too much.
