Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: [Cody's] glib teen-hip dialogue mostly feels like self-conscious splatter over a sorely lackluster scare flick.
Rotten: The tone wavers, the direction's slackly indecisive and visually drab, and in the middle of it is a thinly conceived antagonist played by Megan Fox. Honestly, she's a pretty bad actress. She doesn't seem to get Cody's sense of humor. At all.
Fresh: The flashes of competence just emphasize the extent to which the film has no idea what it's doing.
Fresh: Director Karyn Kusama finds resonant terror in details: the look Anita and Jennifer exchange before Jen's fateful ride, or a victim's last-minute ah-hah.
One thing that made me watch it
Megan Fox cause she is smoking hot.
Megan Fox is hott but..
This movie was very lame. It had a bad plot which didnt make a whole lot of sense and it was just very different. Im gunna have to say I didnt enjoy the movie overall. It was fairly entertaining but it was not good.
good entertainment, but very little life
This movie is as serious as it's movie poster...which is very little. But it's as entertaining as you can make the storyline: vampire girl eats boys.
You can expect very little from this movie, but coming from the writer of Juno you can expect cheesy dialogue, high school oriented lingo, over the top acting, and just over all a completely random film. Megan Fox was convincing as the eerie vampire girl but Amanda Seyfried really got annoying to see on screen.
This movie isn't scary and wont make you sleep with the light on...it's just a silly movie that knows it's silly and takes advantage of it.
You'll enjoy it, but you wont love it.
Nothing necessary to see, but it isn't terrible.
