Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: It strikes the balance between referencing its nostalgic origins without being obnoxious or obsequious in doing so. – Matthew Rozsa, Salon.com, Dec 25, 2017

Fresh: Every year, there are a handful of pleasant and unpleasant surprises in multiplexes. Count Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle among the former. – James Berardinelli, ReelViews, Dec 20, 2017

Fresh: Like a video game, the narrative lacks any character development, relying on obstacles, chases, and the threat of elimination. Hart delivers his one-liners with precision and verve, and Johnson is sweetly funny as the muscular incarnation of a gawky nerd. – Andrea Gronvall, Chicago Reader, Dec 21, 2017

Rotten: "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" makes the original "Jumanji" look like a towering cinematic achievement. – Adam Graham, Detroit News, Dec 22, 2017

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

The first Jumanji was good and I thought this was another reboot but this is really a sequel! Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart we’re together in a movie before (Central Intelligence) and they are perfect i this movie along with Jack Black. If you love action comedy’s than you’ll love this movie!

Saw Jumanji at the Amazon Prime Sneak Peak!! Great!

Well done. A great follow-up movie to the original. Lots of laughs (more than just the trailers) - both adult and kid humour to keep everyone entertained. 4 kids and 2 adults approved!

Amazing!!

I saw it on December 8th and I LOVED IT!! I was laughing so hard! All the actors did and amazing job! I was extremely impressed with Nick Jonas’ performance! I definitely was fangirling when he was on screen!
