Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Stunningly scored and costumed, and gradually bringing in all the principals as it crosscuts between the Western-influenced party and Anjali's more traditional, middle-class milieu. – Derek Elley, Variety, Nov 1, 2017

Fresh: A well made film, with some magical moments (hilarious and weepy) and possibly the world's best looking family! – Shamaila Khan, BBC.com, Nov 1, 2017

Fresh: Johar is an accomplished filmmaker, currently on top form. The assured hand he lends to his fine cast makes this a delight, despite a plotline as old as the hills. – Omar Ahmed, Empire Magazine, Nov 1, 2017

Fresh: This is a film with celebration in its heart: the musical routines are triumphantly lavish, boasting pounding dhol percussion and gorgeously fluid choreography. – Arwa Haider, Time Out, Nov 1, 2017

I have found this movie to be what a family represents.
There is love among the two brothers and the two sisters but the funny part comes near the end when the younger siblings marry...
