About the Movie
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular comedy duo Key & Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell's beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.

Fresh: Thanks to Key and Peele's top-notch comedic chemistry, the jokes are more hit than miss ...
Fresh: I've heard complaints that the feature film debut from Comedy Central's Key and Peele is uneven, overlong and really just a cat video disguised as a movie. Yeah, maybe. But I laughed my ass off.
Fresh: Once you settle into Keanu, it works. And in many ways, it's of a piece with everything else Key and Peele have done.
Rotten: A lot less inspired that you'd think it would be, though, yes, the cat is cute.
Very funny and well written, you can not stop laughing from beginning to end, the kitten stole the show....sort of but a must see if you are into cute animals and a lot of adult humor.
I thought this movie was ok. I probably laughed about 25-35% of the time, and like, legit hysterical laughter but the rest of the film seemed like the pacing didn't fit. Like any of their skits, the comedy of Key & Peele will either work for you or it won't.
Fantastic flick! I highly recommend watching this hilarious film. It's original, creative, and something that can be viewed multiple times. I will definitely buy this movie as soon as it's released.
