The writer and director of The 40-Year-Old Virgin delivers a hilarious hit comedy that the New York Post calls "Brilliant." They say that opposites attract. Well, for slacker Ben (Seth Rogen) and career girl Alison (Katherine Heigl), that's certainly the case - at least for one intoxicated evening. Two months and several pregnancy tests later, Ben and Alison go through a hysterically funny, anxious and heartwarming journey that The New York Times calls "an instant classic."

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: What makes the movie so winning are its endearing and relatable characters who spout believable dialogue and amusing banter, steeped in clever pop-culture references and sharp observations of human nature.
Fresh: Hilarious from moment to moment, but leaving behind both a warm glow and a sting. This is a picture that refuses to fetishize either the ability to conceive or the significance of our place in the universe once we've done so.
Fresh: A refreshingly frank, funny odd-couple comedy with engaging leads and too many belly laughs to count.
Fresh: Knocked Up isn't going to help change the world or anything, but at the very least it may help take one's mind off the relentlessly dismal headlines. I don't know what greater service a mere movie can perform these days.
not a comedy
this is not so much a comedy but more of a feel good movie. one of those one watch, and quit movies. just rent, dont buy. good the first time though! =)
A good 2 hours of mostly mediocre comedy.
Too Much Profanity!
This is a crude - trash talk - movie that uses profanity and sexual scenes just to be crude without contributing to the story line. Unless you enjoy really really crude humor, don't rent this movie.
