A Must Watch Latinamerican Film!

La Soledad is a masterpiece! Thielen and Michelangeli have managed to beautifully capture the struggle to survive in the context of the crumbling Venezuelan economy. They have managed to assemble a history that feels more of a documentary than a fiction movie but embelished with all the characteristics of magical realism.

A subtle mirror of venezuelan reality

La Soledad reflects the crumbling venezuelan economy and quality of life on a very subtle way, without explicity stating it. The documentary style with real life "actors" gives it new way of giving life to a character. A must see.
