Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: By dint of its on-screen talent, "Laggies" qualifies as a genial, puttering indie with a starrier cast.
Fresh: A movie that is, in every way, nothing special - except for the way it's made and how it's done.
Fresh: We understand, you're having trouble growing up. Get on with it, and while you're doing so, amuse us. Luckily, the movie does a pretty good job at that while keeping things overly safe for its hapless heroine, Megan, played by Keira Knightley.
Fresh: A familiar story, albeit from a fresh female perspective and enlivened by a fine cast.
Loved this movie
I mean this story has essentially been done before but I really loved the cast, it was well done and made some solid life points. :)
It's really 3.5/5 not 4/5
Just letting you know my score is 3.5/5 not 4/5. It was either 3 or 4 so I choose 4 because I actually liked the casting choice.
I'm just gonna make this short and sweet.
It's a fun little film to watch when there's nothing else to do. My girlfriend made me watch and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It's no Friends With Benefits or Band Slam but hey was enjoyable non the less.
I'd recommend renting it. It didn't feel like a movie Id go back and watch numerous times.
Apart from the unconventional titles, entrance and exit graphics ... from with I almost exited the movie - the presence of Keira, Chloe and Sam proved to be the winning combination!
The movie excelled with Andrea's excellent script in telling the story of fractured lives, 'with drama, poignancy, and superb acting' they way it needed to be told!
This is real life at its worst ... and best; not the fractured fairytales told on "reality TV."
This "team" should.do a sequel!
