About the Movie
Lemonade and Ducktape Stuffs is a film about quitting. Giving up on the everyday routine and having fun. It was time to say farewell to appeasing the masses and check out. It's not easy. Actually it's really hard. Thats what makes it right. This how we want to be remembered.
Best Mountain Bike Movie EVER
This is what mountain biking is all about. It’s not energy drinks, flashy corporate sponsors, or contests. It’s about going riding with your boys (or girls), ripping on each other, and pushing each other to go faster and bigger. This is filmed through the eyes of a former pro mountain biker, Taylor Sage, who is as American as the Budweiser that flows through his veins, and because of that, is shot from a very different perspective than the typical flick you’d see coming out today. He is able to capture footage of the top riders in their element—a place most are not allowed or could ever reach on their own. There’s no section titles, no rider plugs, no baby bottle hand feeding to the viewers, but there is A LOT of heavy duty riding at incredible speeds and unbelievable heights, and personal moments with guy’s who don’t normally acknowledge or feel comfortable in front of the camera. This is not your average mountain biking flick. This is mountain biking, in its most raw and pure form, without a corporate sponsor, made in a garage in California. You will not be disappointed, but you may very well be confused, especially when you hear songs from Distractor, but this is what the world NEEDS. I’m no pro mountain biker, nor do I have a multi-thousand-dollar-plus bike, but I grew up when this kind of riding was the norm, and there were a lot more people who cared about riding than the getting a photo of themselves...those dudes were the “posers” who thought these guys were nuts. This will stand the test of time, and will redefine the generation of mountain bikers to come. Buy this movie. For yourself. For the groms. Or for some dork who needs a helping hand outta mommy and daddy’s driveway…you may just save the kid’s life.
