About the Movie

TV reporter Lanie Kerrigan (Angelina Jolie) interviews a psychic homeless man (Tony Shalhoub) for a fluff piece about predicting the score of a football game. Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Life is a crock -- or something like it. – Mike Clark, USA Today, Apr 26, 2002

Rotten: The big question in Life or Something Like It isn't 'Will Lanie live?' or even 'Can Lanie change?' but 'Am I ever going to give a fig?' – Stephanie Zacharek,, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: Cloaks a familiar anti-feminist equation (career - kids = misery) in tiresome romantic-comedy duds. – Mark Holcomb, Village Voice, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Life, though funny and sometimes charming, doesn't give Lanie a believable context in which to stop and smell the roses. – Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune, Jul 7, 2010

Worst Movie We've Ever Seen

Saw this years ago with some friends and we all agreed it was the worst movie we've ever seen - terrible acting, dumb story. We laughed at it and made fun of it the whole time which was actually fun. Great movie to rip apart with your friends.

interesting story with a big turn around.
