Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Limitless hits you like an adrenaline rush that will have you saying, "I'll have what he's having." – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, 18 mar, 2011

Fresh: Limitless may not be as brainy as it would like to think it is, but it's a relatively sharp and surprisingly playful head-trip, a satisfyingly novel twist on mindless entertainment. – Tom Charity, CNN.com, 18 mar, 2011

Rotten: The filmmakers doesn't sweat the fact that Eddie is a chemically enhanced fraud. What scares them is any possibility of alienating the movie's target audience with a downer ending. – Mark Jenkins, NPR, 18 mar, 2011

Fresh: You could pick the script apart for impossibilities. But why bother? It's much more enjoyable to shut your brain off and have a good time. – Christy Lemire, Associated Press, 24 mar, 2011

Great Movie

What an eye opener! If you could be the best version of yourself that you could possibly be, how would your life change? In this film, we are confronted with that question and through the eyes of Eddie Mora, played by actor Bradley Cooper, we experience the life changing result of answering the question. If anything, this movie motivates me to strive for self improvement and to aim higher to achieve greater challenges than ever imagined. It makes me question, "what do I truly want out of life" and like anything in life, you need a plan so the next question I have to ask is "what will be my plan of attack?"

When grasping the possibilities of what could be, I suddenly realize the only question left to ask myself is "What's stopping me?" and ultimately, the answer is ME! Through life experiences, I've learned hardwork and dedication will pay off and through perserverance, success shall be achieved. A great mind once said, "Don't focus on your capabilities but more so on the possibilities". What this means is if your constantly saying I can't do this or that and never look beyond what your capable of doing and never focus on what you could possibly do, then you will never be where you want to be. Your fate solely relies on you. Everything in life is a choice and you get what you put in!

A GREAT movie with some huge flaws

I loved watching this movie, from the thrilling opening to the point with about 10 minutes remaining. Then...it got to those 10 minutes, those which could have easily been taken out. There's a specific point where I would have liked to see it blackout, but then it completly contradicts the entire movie's message (hit see more ONLY IF YOU DON'T MIND SPOILERS, OR SAW THE MOVIE.) Also it's a myth that you only use 10 percent of your brain, you use 100% but different parts at different times. This is definetly a movie to see, but be prepared for minor disappointment.

Spoiler section: Alright so here's where I think it should have ended. The mafia is breaking into his room and he's about to commit suicide, knowing they will torture him. But his addiction and desire gets the better of him and he thinks there might be one more NZT pill left. He searches in his room and just as the mafia breaks in, he finds the pill but drops it into the air vent. This is where it should have blacked out, because it's implyed his addiction to drugs led him to his more painful death, right? Well then the mafia takes him but he find a knife, kills the leader (who's been injecting NZT into him bloodstream) and yes, in a PG-13 movie, swallows some of his blood. He kills the other men and later on, gets enough pills to last until he can get a permanent dose and become a brilliant senator. WHAT? The whole movie's message is not to get addicted to drugs no matter what kind. Then with the snap of your fingers the message changes and it's ok to use drugs. Anyway, that's my big gripe with the movie

It just keeps on getting better!

Amazing! It is thrilling, intense and most importantly exciting! i actually watched it twice in the cinema! You will not regret buying this Movie I promise you that! ;)
