Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: The problem here is Mr. Long's Adam, a twitchy knot of tics and self-pity. He invites our sympathy - especially when contrasted with the smarmy Aaron - but doesn't really deserve it.
Rotten: It's clear that Adam is the actual worst, but it's not clear if "Literally, Right Before Aaron" is aware of exactly how bad he is.
Rotten: Justin Long, whose career was built on mild likeability, suffers for that mildness here, in a film that flounders right along with him.
Rotten: The film ends with a riff on the final moments of The Graduate, a frustrating suggestion of a much better work.
Justin Long is comedy gold in this sweet romantic comedy.
Just got to say some will like it and some won't.
It’s pretty bad
My wife and I were hopeful about this movie given the great cast. However it literally was a waste of our time.
