About the Movie
James Bond battles the forces of black magic in this high-octane adventure that hurtles him from the streets of New York City to Louisiana’s bayou country. With charm, wit and deadly assurance, Roger Moore steps in as Agent 007 and takes on a powerful drug lord (Yaphet Kotto) with a diabolical scheme to conquer the world.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Live and Let Die has been especially well photographed and edited, and it makes clever and extensive use of its good title song, by Paul and Linda McCartney.
Rotten: Setting aside an allright speedboat spectacular over land and water, the film is both perfunctory and predictable -- leaving the mind free to wander into the question of its overall taste. Or lack of it.
Fresh: Moore acquits himself in a larger than life adventure peppered with enjoyably rotten gags and lots of playful action.
Fresh: It can't quite muster an explosive third act to match previous jaunts, but Moore had got his feet under the table.
One of the best bonds
Roger Moore shines in his best role as James Bond in Live and Let die. Next to Dr. No, Thunderball, and Goldeneye, this is my favorite bond.
Live and let die
I love all James Bond movies with Roger Moore, he was one of the best, the most charismatic Bond I have ever come across. I grew up watching him as bond.
Too good to be true
Not great bond in Moore, but top 5 caliber bond film. One of the best!
