About the Movie
Hoping to reverse a 'curse' that's hung over his family for generations, Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) hatches a plan to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR's biggest race of the year. He convinces his bartender brother Clyde (Adam Driver) and hairdresser sister Mellie (Riley Keough) to help him pull everything off--but first they have to break the bomb maker Joe Bang (Daniel Craig) out of jail in broad daylight. Academy Award® winner Hilary Swank plays a no-nonsense FBI agent determined to bring the Logans to justice and keep them from racing away with the loot in this high-speed caper from Academy Award®-winning director Steven Soderbergh.

Fresh: Soderbergh films the movie with swing, relishing the overlapping and intertwining strands of the complex plot, the brightly lit personalities of the characters it involves, and the magnificently conceived, essential tiny details ...
Fresh: Such is the merriment of the new movie, and so spirited is its pace, that you barely notice the wavering of the tone.
Fresh: It's good to have Soderbergh back, even if he never was really away.
Fresh: A slick, smarter-than-your-average-bear heist comedy that moves and grooves with all the hallmarks of a Soderbergh caper. He's back, baby.
Steven Soderbergh has created another great movie with amazing wit and hilarious plots and a great cast. I would recommend this movie to anyone.
I'm so glad I went to this movie. It was cute, funny and had a lot of great moments. There was also a very touching scene that almost caused me to tear up. It was great to see these well known actors play very unique roles.
(8/10) LOGAN LUCKY is just DOPE... so DOPE. Yes, the OCEAN'S vibe is there, but the vibe of an aged Director taking his years of experiences and putting them in one film trumps that immediately. You can see it in the all star cast and it's beautiful. This film's funny, smart, and stupid at the same time. Adam Driver, who in all honesty I haven't appreciated, won me over and has become someone I look forward to seeing. Channing Tatum, who I've missed, owns the film while Daniel Craig provides my favorite performance. This film takes the bank heist genre and flips it, just by making it character driven. I feel like there are so many heist films that lack interesting characters, excluding OCEAN'S 11. LOGAN LUCKY is just the heist film you want in all it's enjoyable goodness.
