About the Movie

LOVE ETC. is a witty, poignant and humorous exploration about the universal stages of love, depicted through five real stories over the course of one year in New York City. Young, old, gay, straight – everyone has experienced love – and the joy and frustration that come with it. From teen romance to a decades-long marriage; newlyweds to a recent divorcee, and even a bachelor so frustrated in his search that he chooses to have children without a partner, LOVE ETC. documents the intimate journeys of engaging characters aged 18-89 who reflect the city’s diversity, and takes an honest look at life's most challenging pursuit.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Breakups and disappearances, loneliness and failing health fit into the film's fabric like beats in a TV drama. – Mike Hale, New York Times, Jul 1, 2011

Rotten: It's not that you don't care for these urbanites -- you do, but it's in spite of Andresevic's unengaged hanging-around and general air of slightness. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Jul 22, 2011

Fresh: In an age in which it feels as if seemingly pure intimacy no longer exists, this film thrives on nothing but intimate moments. – Wesley Morris, Boston Globe, Jul 28, 2011

Fresh: Who needs cliched Hollywood love stories when you can see the real thing? – V.A. Musetto, New York Post, Jul 1, 2011

Nice work

A well written movie. 93 minutes of being connected to someones story that is not your own. It has a good mix of cringe v's nostalgia v's what the….. would watch it a second time for sure.
