About the Movie
Rap Legend Mac Dre is convicted of conspiracy to commit bank robbery after his lyrics are used against him in court. After his release, he started a successful record label but was murdered just as his fame grew. Ten years later, his mother tries to pick up the pieces and help her son live on by taking over his company.

Mac Dre was a real legend in the Bay Area. This is the best documentary to capture his life and legacy in music. There are great interviews with several of his Bay Area contemporary rappers and scholars of the genre.
