About the Movie
Forever changed by witnessing the devastation of an aluminum plant shutting down in his hometown, Josh Miller sets out on a 30 day journey across America to find out if “Made in the USA” still means anything. Throughout the journey Josh lives off of “Made in USA” products as best he can, and speaks to people in the heart of America about issues facing the country today as the continued outsourcing of the manufacture of goods erodes the manufacturing backbone of the American economy - and the dreams of countless workers around the nation.
I lost my job to outsourcing
This film really touches home on Outsourcing and how it effects us here at home. I used to edit websites and now with all of the rising coders in Pakistan I cannot compete. This is a great film and worth watching!
I purchased the HD version to support the Made in America movement. Well done documentary that explores how important it is to buy Made in USA products. I work for a company (Wellborn Cabinet, Inc.) That is proudly made in America using 98% or more American materials in all our products.
Great American Story
Josh does an excellent job of telling a poignant and important story about American manufacturing. Well worth a viewing or 2.
