About the Movie

When an untraceable group of elite bank robbers execute the perfect heist making off with millions in cash and leaving a dead bank manager in their wake, the FBI Agents investigating the robbery/homicide (Christopher Meloni, Dave Bautista and Adrian Grenier) begin to uncover signs of corruption involving the bank’s owner (Bruce Willis) and his high power clients. As they dig deeper into the case, the Feds realize that things are not what they seem, and in order to untangle a complicated web of deception and corruption they must push themselves to the brink – where the lines between right and wrong are often times blurred.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: "Marauders" lays out a scenario in the first 40 minutes or so that, oddly enough, makes you think "this is not an entirely uninteresting premise for a thriller." But after that, things devolve ... – Glenn Kenny, New York Times, Jun 30, 2016

Rotten: It's a bank-robbery thriller and a "political" expose all at once: No wonder this overly elaborate potboiler turns into a muddle. – Owen Gleiberman, Variety, Jul 7, 2016

Rotten: Marauders suffers from an affliction that's increasingly rare, if not unique, in the annals of modern gritty cop thrillers -- it is all plot and no drama. – Kevin Maher, Times (UK), Dec 22, 2016

Rotten: One assumes that every film has a creative impetus at some point in its production, but it's incredibly hard to find one buried underneath this morally vile, incompetently made thriller. – Brian Tallerico,, Jul 1, 2016

Customer Reviews

I'm so glad I ignored the negative reviews. NO action, are you fricking kidding me!? That opening scene was amazing! Tons of twists, they didn't give the plot away till the 3/4 mark. I honestly loved this film. If you fell asleep or turned off then your sex life must be in ashes! The acting was pretty dang good, I think Willis has over committed to films but he did ok, the other actors mainly carried it.

Pretty Good Movie

This was a pretty good film. All the actors do a good job and the story, even though a bit played out, has its moments. Don't listen to the bashers, it's not that bad. Give it go if you want to. Or don't.

The story line was good. I wasn't bored once. The film is full of action and well acted. This film is worth what I paid to rent it.
