Everything about this movie I love. They do such a great job of painting the picture of this often quiet but incredibly influential man of music. From the beginnings of his childhood to his time with Bunny and Peter to his venture To Europe along with his relationships with women and his connections with his children, director Kevin Macdonald keeps our attention scene to scene. A beautiful display of filmmaking along with a crisp and solid soundtrack makes this the perfect rock documentary. Bob Marley and his message of peace and understanding will forever live in not only the culture of Jamaica but the entire world. Job well done Mr. Macdonald!

Robert Nesta Marley

God put him on this world to spread the message of peace and unity. A modern day prophet. 30+ years after his passing and Bob Marley is recognized around the globe. Burn a spliff and enjoy. Be inspired

A wonderful film about a wonderful man of redemption

This is the treatment of Bob - the entire story told by those who loved and knew him best - that the world has deserved for the three decades that have passed since he returned to his (and everybody's) home. Cheers to all involved in the making of this balanced, nuanced visual song of a truly transcendent man. And until we all get it right, forever live Bob Marley. Can't wait to meet him someday :-)
