Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The end of the world, von Trier-style, is a middling thing as a film. – Todd McCarthy, Hollywood Reporter, Nov 11, 2011

Fresh: The most composed and beautiful and conspicuously adult film of [von Trier's] career... – Andrew O'Hehir,, Nov 11, 2011

Fresh: It's a planet that can't come soon enough for her, but one that I kept willing away. Not, I'm a little embarrassed to say, to save humanity from Melancholia, but simply to stay in this remarkable movie's presence just a little longer. – Bob Mondello, NPR, Nov 11, 2011

Fresh: Melancholia will haunt you for days, maybe weeks. – Rafer Guzman, Newsday, Nov 23, 2011

Ten dollars!!!!

Ten dollars to rent????!!!!!! I Tunes, are you out of your mind????? I hope this is an error. It looks intriguing, but not enough to shell out ten dollars for.

What A Sad Movie.

"Fresh?" Audacious, beautiful, tactful filmmaking?"

More like glacial, boring, pretentious cr*p with no story or entertainment value whatsover.

I gave it a half hour. And $9.99. Don't make the same mistake.

Too much

10 bucks to rent is lame..
