From the studio that brought you The Rookie and Remember The Titans comes the movie everybody loves -- Miracle. Filled with exhilarating nonstop hockey action and heart-racing suspense, it's the inspiring true story behind one of the greatest moments in sports history; the 1980 United States ice hockey team's triumphant Olympic victory against the Soviet Union. Kurt Russell gives a brilliant performance as the dynamic and determined coach Herb Brooks, who had an impossible dream -- beat the seemingly unbeatable Soviets at their own game. Starting with a handpicked group of 26 undisciplined kids, Brooks coached them to play like they never played before, and turned 20 of them into a team that believed they could achieve the unachievable -- and in the process, united a nation with a new feeling of hope.

It is a true miracle!
I can't even explain how great of a movie this is. Not only is it a great movie, but it really covers, and very well, the U.S 1980 olympic hockey team. It brings you into the emotion of the game, and you feel as if you have eperienced the exact same feelings the players had. It also exhibited how much a hockey game can effect not ony those who played in it, but an entire country. If you are a hockey fan, you have no choice bu to watch this movie, and even if you aren't, the same goes for you. This is one of the best films ever created.
life, liberty, and the pursuit of gold medals
it is a timeless movie which is able to portray what an impact the game had on the country. how did vince papale change america? or the t.c. williams football team? how about a really old rookie for the hopeless devil rays? or some runner from oregon? while all of these movies are great (remember the titans especially), the point is, "miracle" is a movie about our country. it has you out of your seat (yes, even off your couch/la-z boy) and cheering u-s-a, u-s-a! you'll be saying it in your sleep or under your breath subconciusly for weeks. hey, there could be worse things to be saying! buy this movie...its worth it!
