Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: A well-assembled sci-fi thriller. – Duane Byrge, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Moon is an old-fashioned sci-fi movie in the best sense: far more psychological drama than space opera, dispensing with overweening CGI and loud flashy action sequences while harking back to subtler, more ideas-driven entries in the genre. – Philip Kemp, Sight and Sound, Aug 29, 2011

Fresh: At the heart of this you've got this fantastic concept and a fantastic performance from Rockwell. It's absolutely tense. It's absolutely admirable. – Margaret Pomeranz, At the Movies (Australia), Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: This is science fiction at its stimulating best. – David Stratton, At the Movies (Australia), Jun 24, 2010

Really Good Movie

This is an incredible movie. It isn't boring and keeps you watching the whole time because of its great story and acting. buy it

Simply Stunning

Easily one of the better sci-fi films to come out in the past decade. Sam Rockwell performs on screen like I've expected him to; with a style and sense of acting ability that is far too rare. His past work speaks for itself, and this work of art is no different. Everything about this film exudes talent. Kevin Spacy does a phenomenal job as Gerty, the robot helper looking after Sam. The computer work and set design feels completely realistic. And on a side note, I really loved how they represented the computer screens, very clean and organic. The art and graphic design is excellent.
It's just a shame that I can't buy this until January, but it's worth the wait. This film, is simply stunning.

Possible in the near futur? Totally.
