My First Bond

Ah, the 70's. This was the very 1st Bond film I saw in the theaters, so it'll ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. Silly, campy, sure- but alot of fun while doing it! With one of the better opening scenes in any Bond film, the return of Jaws, hokey laser battles, AND Roger Moore in his prime, what's not ta like? A fun & gadget-filled adventure that's definately worth the ride!

different, but good

This is my second favorite of the Moore Bond films. It goes in a different direction than the previous ones with the space theme, but it is based on an Ian Fleming novel. (though in the book Bond is there to investigate murder and has previously met the villian). However, this movie starts and ends well, but the middle is the problem for me. Also, it is very dated! Good, but certainly not great.

The Worst of the whole entire James Bond franchies!

I am a huge James Bond fan but Moonraker is just plain awful. At the end of The Spy who Loved Me it said the next bond film would be For Your Eyes Only, but because of the success of Star Wars, the crew decided to make a science fiction 007 movie, and boy oh boy did it fail. First of all, James Bond is not a space man, he is a secret agent working for the British Government, and secondly, this movie takes place in 1979 and they already have a spacestation and laserguns, that makes no sense. I also think the relationship between Jaws and the blonde girl was really stupid and not nesecary at all. If anyone likes this movie then I really pity you. Please don't waste your 10 bucks on this piece of garbage, but if you are really anxious to see it, then just rent it from the video store.
