Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: It's one of the most buoyant Bond films of all. – Vincent Canby, New York Times, Sep 8, 2015

Fresh: Broccoli just keeps piling on the goodies: lush Ken Adam sets, gadgetry and gams galore, super stunts and effects. – Frank Rich, TIME Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Christopher Wood's script takes the characters exactly where they always go in a James Bond pic and the only question is whether the stunts and gadgets will live up to expectations. They do. – Variety Staff, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: An ill-conceived and frankly quite silly Bond-meets-sci-fi experiment. – Film4, Sep 8, 2015

My First Bond

Ah, the 70's. This was the very 1st Bond film I saw in the theaters, so it'll ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. Silly, campy, sure- but alot of fun while doing it! With one of the better opening scenes in any Bond film, the return of Jaws, hokey laser battles, AND Roger Moore in his prime, what's not ta like? A fun & gadget-filled adventure that's definately worth the ride!

Moonraker... A Disappointment

Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of the James Bond films and novels. That fact is the only reason that I am giving this movie two stars. Compared to most of the other Bond films, this one was not good film. It was very strange for a Bond film. If you want to see all the Bond films, then I suggest you rent this, because you will not watch it twice.
