empowering

I saw the originial film "Business of Being Born". This was just as empowering and I look forward to watcing the rest of the series. I can not wait to meet my baby!

Wonderful

I have watched this movie and the first one with Ina May Gaskin (whom I adore). I think it is an absolute must see. This is my 4th pregnancy. I had two with epidurals, 1 natural and all in the hospital setting. I've had both doctors and midwives. I really think this is a very inspiring series. What I think I loved most was that all aspects of childbirth were addressed, the good the bad and the ugly. It's especially wonderful for those with a "birth plan" to help you see that even with the best intentions, there is a bit of uncertainty and that its most important to be as prepared as you can but to also be open to whatever happens in the moment. I loved hearing all the stories. These are the stories that need to be passed on.
