Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Director Garry Marshall is a menace. He keeps killing holidays with all-star comedies in which a laugh would die of loneliness. Note to Marshall: Keep your mitts off Father's Day. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Apr 29, 2016

Rotten: It's fine that the makeshift trilogy (please, let it only be a trilogy) is a simple-minded ode to love meant to send everyone home happy. So why doesn't it actually send anyone home happy? – Michael Nordine, Village Voice, Apr 30, 2016

Rotten: Even if stars Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Kate Hudson are mom's all-time favorites, don't subject her to this cloying, plotless dose of saccharine unless she's done you wrong. – Sandy Cohen, Associated Press, Dec 30, 2016

Rotten: As flimsy and trite as a Hallmark card. – Leah Pickett, Chicago Reader, May 5, 2016

Customer Reviews

Might be the worst movie ever made...

You have a nice star-studded cast, but that is truly it. The script was idiotic, the lines were poorly delivered and the acting was absolutely lame. It is almost as if they knew how bad it was so didn't bother to even try to deliver a good performance. Don't be fooled by the big names in this movie. I had to fast forward through parts just to get to the end to say I finished it. Biggest pile of crap ever!

Ignore the critics

I never write reviews but felt it was necessary for anyone considering this movie after reading the critic reviews. I don't know what they're talking about. I thought the movie was witty and cute. It had me tearing up at points and laughing out loud at others.

Bad bad bad

If you want to waste your time go ahead and watch this movie.
