About the Movie
In a land far away, the sun and moon shine only thanks to heroic Guardians. But when an unlikely little creature, Mune, is chosen to be the new Guardian of the Moon, a vengeful ex-Guardian takes advantage of his inexperience and steals the sun! Now Mune must team up with Sohone, the swaggering Guardian of the Sun, and Glim, a headstrong girl with a taste for adventure, to rescue the sun and save their world.
This is an unbelievably good movie. I was browsing movies, as I sometimes do, to look for something to watch. For some reason I was in the mood for something along the lines of an old childhood classic but nothing was coming to mind. As I was browsing I came across this title that I had previously considered watching but it just didn't seem that good. To me it looked like a rookie movie with a minimal budget, so I decided to skip it. However, coming across it a second time re-kindled my interest in it and I decided to watch it. I was completely blown away by it. This is truly a fantasmal movie that deserves more recognition than it has gotten. Yes the animation isn't as high quality as some other relavant animations like Zootopia or Sing or any other of this current year, but the story and the music and its artful representations are phenomenally incomparable to any other animations. I really hope this review will convince you to watch this, because this is a movie I don't want people to miss.
Fun to watch!
I absolutely loved the storyline, animation and creative characters. This was such a fun movie to watch, I wanted to watch it again when it was over. Wish it was advertised better here in the states, I almost past it up. Definitely fun for ALL ages.
The film is art. Plain and simple. The characters and scenery are incredibly unique. While the story isn’t new territory - guardians of This and That must stop a Big Bad - it’s told in such beautiful detail and with such a warmth of heart that it deserves a place in your library.
