About the Movie

Nick Kroll, Adam Scott, and Jenny Slate star in this hilarious comedy that takes sibling rivalry to new heights. Bill (Kroll, Adult Beginners, Date Night) has always lived in the shadow of his overachieving brother Robbie (Scott,“Parks & Recreation”, The Overnight, Step Brothers), an arrogant athlete and local celebrity who happens to be blind. After years of thanklessly helping Robbie achieve one goal after another, Bill finally catches a break when he finds a connection with the charming Rose (Slate, Obvious Child, Zootopia), who is dealing with her own crisis. But when Rose starts dating Robbie, Bill must decide if he can finally put his own happiness over his brother’s and compete for the ultimate prize. Also starring Zoe Kazan (What If, Our Brand is Crisis).

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: A thoroughly harmless comedy that spaces its one-liners a bit widely. It's made watchable by an appealing cast ... – Ben Kenigsberg, New York Times, Sep 22, 2016

Rotten: Though My Blind Brother clearly isn't aiming for the feel-good realm, the emotions never ring true enough to make any of the purposely flawed leads relatable, never mind likable. – Kevin P. Sullivan, Entertainment Weekly, Sep 22, 2016

Fresh: Nick Kroll and Jenny Slate nail the nobility of resentment in this winningly featherweight romantic comedy. – Andrew Barker, Variety, Mar 15, 2016

Fresh: Writer-director Sophie Goodhart, who based the film on her 2003 Palme d'Or-nominated short, has crafted three cleverly flawed and dimensional lead characters, all vividly brought to life by their astute players. – Gary Goldstein, Los Angeles Times, Sep 22, 2016

Great cast, great watch

Kroll, Slate, Scott and Kazan are awesome - I feel like any movie with them would be awesome, but this was a nice tight story with a lot of humor, wit and heart.

Wow. So bad!

I would give this a minus if I could. An embarrassing excise for a movie. Bad acting no plot. Just bad!
