About the Movie
A feature documentary about the resurgence of psychedelics as medicine. Psychedelics can be potent tools for getting to know who we are, who we can be, and for healing the trauma of a society that is addicted to greed and consumerism. This film dares to break the taboo surrounding psychedelic medicines, by examining and revealing their proven potential to heal and alleviate suffering on a global scale. Through interviews with the world’s foremost researchers, writers, psychologists and pioneers in psychedelic psychotherapy, the film explores the history and medicinal potential of five powerful psychedelic substances (LSD, Psilocybin, MDMA, Ayahuasca and Cannabis).
Neurons to Nirvana: Understanding Psychedelic Medicines
Finally a doc that dares to break the taboo about psychedelic medicines through scientific evidence.
There is a clear contradiction between psychedelics drug laws and scientific clinical trial results in this country.
These medicines have the potential to alleviate human suffering on a huge scale treating addictions, depressions, anxiety and much more.
When drugs laws will be changed and western medicines will finally recognize the importance of the mind to heal the body these medicines will be completely integrated with our medical system.
Please watch, review and share. It is very important.
Eye-opening, heart opening, mind expanding. Mega- Interesting Documentary!
This is a best documentary I've seen on the subject of Healing. I learned how they can HEAL addictions, depression, ADHD and used for end of life suffering. This doc clearly explained how these medicines react on the brain and why they have been shunned by the laboratories in favor of pharmaceutical drugs(which really just cover symptoms, repress the pain and make people even MORE addicted). I watched this with my mother, my husband and 17yr old .Everyone loved it. Totally recommend !
Wow. What an incredible documentary. I was completely engaged from start to finish, and it put me in an altered state just by watching. It's so well thought through, highly educational and thought-provoking, and with a great flow. I will definitely watch this again. Highly highly recommend. Definitely one of the best movies ever made.
