About the Movie

Workaholic Kevin (Adam Pally) goes home with the beautiful train-wreck Madeline (Rosa Salazar) for a drunken one night stand, but he's horrified to discover she's actually his boss' jilted ex-mistress. After she takes a bottle of sleeping pills, Kevin is forced to keep her awake all night. As Madeline and Kevin banter through the night, they begin to fall for each other.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Meet the fun couple of the year, and watch them go at it tooth and nail. – Stephen Holden, New York Times, Dec 3, 2015

Fresh: Director Charles Hood's sophomore feature could have gone south in any number of ways. Fortunately, the execution here is impressively adroit, with a clever script enlivened by two charmingly compatible lead performances from Rosa Salazar and Adam Pally. – Andrew Barker, Variety, Apr 6, 2015

Fresh: Manages a simmering romantic-comic tension thanks to an emotionally wise screenplay and a couple of nicely pinging performers. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Dec 3, 2015

Fresh: A mostly satisfying two-hander that never quite lives up to its full potential. – Sherilyn Connelly, Village Voice, Dec 1, 2015

First Impressions

At first I wanted to punch Adam Pally in the stomach but as the movie went on, I realized what a good guy he is. I am a little drunk but he is great. Great movie too.

Really, really bad

My wife and I were looking forward to this one.
-15min in: Disappointed; ready to forfeit the $7.50.
-30min in: Shut it off.
-35min: Took the time to fill out a review as fair warning to others.

P.S. Thank you, once again, Rotten Tomatoes for being consistent. TOMATOMETER: 100%, LOL

worst movie ever

No point, no plot, no chemistry. This movie might be the worst comedy my wife and I ever saw. Seriously people, avoid this movie. We are so disappointed with rotten tomatoes on this one.
