About the Movie

Never let the weather get you down. Despite the East Coast's record-breaking mild winter of 2012, the Meathead crew still managed to sniff out the goods. Fighting low snowfall and mid-summer temps, they hurled themselves off buildings, bashed icy moguls, and plowed through some of the deepest Eastern powder ever filmed. Join their quest from Vermont to Quebec, including their first ever journey across the pond to Switzerland. In classic East Coast style, Meathead Films overcomes the struggles and keeps things entertaining, No Matter What.

Customer Reviews

I know we had a bad year, but really?

Knowing last year basically came down to one bluebird day, I still had expectations. At $12.99 for the HD version, I am sadly disappointed. I think the whole movie is barely 35 minutes including the opening ski-less segment and credits. There's a bad Mt. Snow park session with dirt all around a view gigantic condos behind the lodge, the same ole Radio Ron and the Hammer bump segment, a trip to Europe and the Jay day. I had better days hiking in the Berkshires after the Halloween storm.

I only gave it 2 stars as an east coaster. To everyone else, it's no wonder we get laughed at. Here's to hoping 2012/2013 will be a big turn around.

The deepest powder I've ever seen in any of the meathead movies... and I've seen almost all of them. The jay peak section will blow your mind! Switzerland section is also really good (though not east) and Andrew Whiteford has some great shots. He was one of my favorite meathead skiers from earlier titles. I don't do street or jumps but the meathead movies always have entertaining stuff. Moguls were retro and Stowe section had some sizable cliffs. The movie overall was shorter and not as impressive as last year's Prime Cut, but that's not surprising considering the horrific winter we had last season. Definitely worth the money if only for the epic, choking powder!

This movie was phenomenal. I'm recommending it to all of my friends, eastern and western skiers alike. These guys are so core, they show what every skier does, loves, and goes through; I feel like I know all of these guys after watching it. They also show sick pow and sick urban with astounding cinematography. Seriously the cinematography and production quality is just getting better every year. LOVE THIS MOVIE, so did everyone I watched it with. MAKE SURE YOU SEE IT!
