About the Movie

THE FOUR HORSEMEN [Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan] return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY [Daniel Radcliffe], a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The film is an emotional black hole, its insufferably smug tricksters augmented by Mr. Harrelson ... as his character's identical twin. They never let us forget that their chief superpowers are glibness and ego. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Jun 9, 2016

Rotten: This is no mere haunted house movie. This is a tour through a giant, spring-loaded funhouse. – Scott Tobias, NPR, Jun 9, 2016

Rotten: Now You See Me 2 disappears with not a poof, but in a hyper-kinetic blur of hectic plot mechanics, ceaselessly nattering characters and so many ploys of misdirection that the film's own direction got lost up someone's sleeve long ago. – Jake Coyle, Associated Press, Jun 9, 2016

Rotten: The movie offers neither the astonishment of the magicians' artistry nor a dramatic view of how they do it. – Richard Brody, New Yorker, Jun 13, 2016

dude how is this even legal

This movie shouldnt have been made, as a sequal to one of the best heist movies of all time, this movie made me cringe up through the entire thing and at points i was even tempted to leave the theatre. I didnt think it was possible to ruin the first one, yet they managed to do so. Its not the worst movie ever, but if you liked the first one, then if you're like me, you'll hate this one.

A sequel too far

The first movie was good but this one was boring, unrealistic, and not fun. I would wait for Netflix.

Negative stats

This is the first time that I feel like that all the positive reviews have to be fake. Seriously, horrible movie...wasted money..
