Fresh: Williams has now proven that he can play creepy with the best of them. – Paul Clinton (,, Aug 31, 2002

Fresh: Williams's exacting performance -- not a note of it is unconsidered -- makes us feel more for Sy than we'd like to. – Desson Thomson, Washington Post, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Romanek keeps adding flourishes -- artsy fantasy sequences -- that simply feel wrong. They cheapen the overall effect. – Eric Harrison, Houston Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

williams' most bold movie yet!!!

this movie is on the edge of your seat thriller. by far the best robin williams movie he has yet to act in. this movie made me turn from disposable cameras to digital!

what a find

I watched this movie while on vacation in Honduras. It was in a stack of movies given to us by the landlord. What an unbelievable surprise this movie is. This is Williams' best work to date and he's been in some great movies. This film is a masterpiece. Nothing else to say. Whether you rent or eventually they let you buy, you will not regret.

Awesome Movie

This film was one of williams best. This movie really makes you think about one hour photo shops. It makes you realize that you are not the only one sharing your family memories.Obviously, since this is 2008,we all have digital cameras in our posession. This movie is a tad out of date for our times now,but it is still very realistic. This is probably one of the best thrillers I've ever seen.It has a fresh plot that we never think could even happen. This deserves way more than 5 measley stars.
