About the Movie
In this intense thriller, three friends from California head to the rugged Australian coast for a cage-dive encounter with deadly great whites. But after attracting a swarm of vicious sharks, their tour boat is destroyed by a massive rogue wave. As clouds gather and darkness descends, the three friends find themselves alone and defenseless, afloat in the chilly ocean as hungry man-eaters begin to circle. With little hope of rescue, they must fight to survive using only their courage.

Too much like Open Water (1st one)
The cage diving is just about 2 minues of the movie. Everything else mirrors the first one except these characters are idiots - they did everything they could to screw things up. It's a fair movie - I was torn between 2 stars and 3 stars, but since I did manage to watch it all, I gave it three
TRUST ME
Save your time and money.
People are behaving so stupidly in the movie that you come to a point where you think the shark should NOT eat them otherwise it will become as dumb as they are.....
WHAT A SLOW LOSS OF TIME! You've been warned...
Open Water-ed up
Holds true to the original with added adrenaline.Minus the blunders of life saving opportunities(gives it a 4/5), the story was seemingly plausible. The characters were well developed, the mixture of life's dramas will have audiences rooting- who should die and who shouldn't.
The director portrays a dangling sense of hope in many scenes causing brief sighs of relief.Unique tension is developed well in executing the climactic scenes. The impeccable timing of thrills were spot on, keeping viewers on the edge, most times, earning a ‘watered-up’ version to the original.
