Plot Summary

In this taut crime thriller, action film star Bo Laramie (Cole Hauser) has it all – a great career, a beautiful family and a Malibu beach house. But his personal life is the constant target of story-seeking photographers, especially the over-zealous Rex Harper (Tom Sizemore). And when an accident threatens Bo’s family, he goes on a rampage of revenge against the relentlessly sleazy shutterbugs.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Amazingly arrogant, immoral film. – Dave Kehr, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Rotten: It doesn't take long for the film to devolve into a ludicrously far-fetched Celebrity Death Wish. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Sep 7, 2011

Rotten: Visually uninspired and dramatically overheated, Paparazzi has overall look and feel of generic direct-to-video production. – Joe Leydon, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: No serious exploration of the issue of the invasion of privacy of celebrities but a classic exploitation picture -- topical, punchy, occasionally unintentionally laughable and morally dubious. – Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010
