Rotten: "Peace, Love & Misunderstanding" treats the Hudson Valley as a kind of Eden, and it is not the first film to do so, merely one of the duller. All is schematic in the extreme. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jun 7, 2012

Loved it

Jane Fonda is at the top of her game and has great chemistry with the other actors. A really fun, enjoyable movie. Definitely recommended.

Quirky and Cute

A pleasure to see Jane Fonda back again and in a role that seems like destiny. She really shines, and shows why she's regarded as such a great actress.
I was also very surprised by Nat Wolff, who really stole many of his scenes. That kid is funny!

A lot of fun

Loved this one! The trailer was enough to get me interested, but I wasn't sure what to expect. The cast was great--the three leading ladies (Fonda, Keener, and Olsen) were wonderful in their respective parts. And where did Nat Wolff come from? He's hilarious. Brought lots of humor and well delivered comedic moments to the story. Woodstock looks absolutely beautiful...gorgeous scenery!
