Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: A a family circus of dysfunction that's so familiar you may feel tempted to place bets on how everything will shake out, and painless enough that you might not resent doing so. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Mar 24, 2011

Rotten: So lame it barely gets a rise out of permanent erection jokes. – Alissa Simon, Variety, Mar 7, 2011

Rotten: By turns flat and strained, "Peep World" is a collection of personality disorders in search of a story. – Sheri Linden, Los Angeles Times, Mar 24, 2011

Rotten: After a promisingly tart start, the strident satire stumbles and falls into a sitcom-y hole from which it never emerges, despite the game efforts of its dynamic ensemble. – Hollywood Reporter, Mar 7, 2011

very funny movie

I really enjoyed this film - it's quite an ensemble and while it's very funny it's also a great commentary on family dynamics. I love Michael C. Hall as Dexter so it's nice to see him play such a different kind of character whose life is anything but in control.

I wish I could have bought it!

This movie was clever, charming, hilarious, and sometimes painful to watch. Most of these characters exist in my family, either by blood or by choice. My only reget was that had they lengthened the run time they could have come a little more full circle or developed a couple of the characters or story lines a bit more....another way of saying I would have loved to have seen MORE! Worth the unusually high rental fee.....enjoy!!

was lucky enough to catch this at the gala screening at the Toronto Film Festival - I can't wait to see it again as I missed a lot of the jokes because the audience was laughing so much - Rainn Wlison and Sarah Silverman are great in this as is Michael C Hall but Ben Schwartz and Kate Mara definitely have the funniest scenes!
