About the Movie

For 37 years, audiences have followed small town friends Reggie, Mike, and Jody in their quest to stop the evil, dimension-hopping schemes of The Tall Man (Angus Scrimm in his final performance) and his armada of killer Sentinel Spheres. Now, Don Coscarelli‟s acclaimed horror/sci-fi Phantasm franchise comes to a close in a truly epic finale, a multi-dimensional battle across multiple timelines, alien planets, and altered realities, where no less than the fate of Earth is on the line.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: It's kinda-sorta like an Alain Resnais movie, only with zombie dwarfs. And four-barrel shotguns. And, of course, floating, blade-bedecked silver spheres. – Joe Leydon, Variety, Sep 29, 2016

Fresh: Retains all the offbeat humor and casual surrealism that has kept this franchise afloat for over three decades. – Noel Murray, Los Angeles Times, Oct 6, 2016

Rotten: Phantasm: Ravager only works when it's a piece of straight-up fan service. – Simon Abrams, RogerEbert.com, Oct 7, 2016

Rotten: The main character, played by Bannister, is forever baffled as to what his actual reality is. His bafflement is shared by the viewer. – Soren Anderson, Seattle Times, Oct 6, 2016

Like phantasm collided with twin peaks.

Great movie. Definitely the strangest of the bunch but still very fun to watch. RIP Angus. It was great to see the tall man one more time.

Worst of them all

The worst sequel. The only thing it ravaged was my wallet. Poor quality in all aspects. Watch 1-4 and pretend this doesn't exist.

The wait is over

I was a fan of this series since I saw the original on VHS. I'm torn on wishing for a more definitive outcome than what we got.

Lots of blood in this one and I was fine with the effects on my 4K tv.

As we are all getting older, I found this one really tugged on the heartstrings and that got it the fourth star.

If you've enjoyed the earlier movies you really should watch this one too.

If I were to rate the movies in order of how much I liked them, Phantasm was best, then OblIVion, then RaVager, III, and finally II.

Thanks Don and everyone for giving us all the opportunity to decide how we think this series ends.
