When it's traced back to him, Dale and Saul run for their lives? and they quickly discover that they're not just suffering from weed-fueled paranoia. Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: At its sharpest, the script by [Seth]Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who co-wrote Superbad, recalls what made Superbad worth seeing: the sidewinding conversational riffs, the why-am-I-laughing? wordplay. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: This by turns inspired, goofy and finally weirdly hyper-violent celebration of male bonding and chronic Peter Panism joins such classics as Up in Smoke and the Harold & Kumar oeuvre in its sunny, raunchy acceptance of its own idiocy. – Ann Hornaday, Washington Post, Sep 24, 2011

Fresh: Imagine Superbad, but with fear of drug-related homicide replacing adolescent sexual panic as the excuse for male bonding, and you won't be too far off. – Christopher Orr, The New Republic, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Never generates any big laughs, and the chase elements are so intentionally cliched they never take on a life of their own. – J. R. Jones, Chicago Reader, Jun 24, 2010

Funniest movie of 08

It's like Die Hard meets Cheech & Chong.

FUNNIEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!!

When I watched Pineapple Express earlier this year I wasn’t expecting much more than a stupid movie. Just something to do for a couple hours. I was surprised that the movie was very funny and very entertaining,, so much so that I watched it twice. If you want to watch a good funny movie then do yourself a favor and watch Pineapple Express.

Toke on this movie!

This is by far one of my favorite comedies. This movie is not to be missed. This is one movie you will watch over and over again. The acting is great, and the entire movie is just hilarious. If you want something to make you laugh, this is it. This movie will become a pothead classic, guaranteed. Buy it.
