About the Movie

Just when he's needed most, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), that witty and wily charmer of a pirate, is trapped on a sea of sand in Davy Jones' Locker. In an increasingly shaky alliance, Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) begin a desperate quest to find and rescue him. Captain Jack's the last of the nine Pirate Lords of the Brethren Court who must come together united in one last stand to preserve the freedom-loving pirates' way of life. From exotic Singapore to World's End and beyond, from Shipwreck Island to a titanic battle, this adventure's filled with over-the-edge action, irreverent humor and seafaring myth and magic. Everything has led to this twisting, turning, wild swashbuckling ride in this final chapter of the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN trilogy.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Not so much thought out as strung together -- colorful incident upon colorful incident, but without logic, gathering suspense or any attempt to establish emotional connections between audience and actors. – Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: A glazed, inhuman, cluttered piece of work, a storytelling mishmash that buries the considerable charms of its actors under heavy drifts of silt. – Stephanie Zacharek,, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: Funner, biggerer, brighterer, bolderer, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is not only okay, it may even be close to good. – Stephen Hunter, Washington Post, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Worth seeing for the jaw-dropping action, the doses of irreverent humor and of course the star power of Depp, Knightley, Rush, Orlando Bloom, Bill Nighy, Chow Yun-Fat and a host of other talented actors who utter their lines with Shakespearean gusto. – Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times, Jun 24, 2010

Great Movie!

This movie was really, really, really, good. I saw it in theatres and I was kept on the edge of my seat the whole time! The music is really good in this one too. It's nice to see a dramatic change in the whole mood and its also nice to see how amazingly different the movie can be. This is way far better than I ever expected and I am sooooooo glad I watched it =).

Captain Jack is Back!

POTC 3 is back and better than ever. This movie is so good, even though it is close to 3 hours. There is alot of action, death, and romance. You are never bored watching it. There is so much going on at once, it can get confusing, but once you see it, it isn't. I saw it 3 times in theaters. It was amazing. I love Johnny Depp and Pirates of the Caribbean. Let's hope for a fourth! <33johnny
