About the Movie

Planet 51 is a galactic sized animated alien adventure comedy revolving around American astronaut Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker, who lands on Planet 51 thinking he's the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world reminiscent of a cheerfully innocent 1950s America, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien Chuck! With the help of his robot companion "Rover" and his new friend Lem, Chuck must navigate his way through the dazzling, but bewildering, landscape of Planet 51 in order to escape becoming a permanent part of the Planet 51 Alien Invaders Space Museum.

Customer Reviews

Honestly, it's not that bad.

While the storyline itself was in fact, misleading in some points, this dosen't deserve half the critism it received. The voice acting was great and the comedic timing was very good. Also, I loved all the sci-fi and 50's refrences. Definately worth renting, and if you want to get it, that's great too.

Great movie

all my friends including me loved it, this movie is worth watching

Planet 51

Downloaded it to my iPod Classic (got to love that 160 GB memory) at 00:01 this morning when it became available. Watched it in a hospital OR waiting room. It allowed me to add to my collection of askance looks as I sat there laughing like a loon. By the way, they did not "cherry-pick" the scenes in the trailer. This one is a keeper!
